Hulk Hogan is a name that echoes through every wrestling fan’s ears. Hogan enjoyed massive popularity during his days in WWE and WCW. During his tenure at WWE and WCW, he won several accolades and championships. And, even after he retired from the sport, he maintained his legacy.
Hogan rose to fame during the Golden era, which contained some other equally popular talents such as Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage, and Ric Flair, to name a few. He shared a close friendship with stars such as Roddy Piper and Eric Bischoff.

In 2015, Hogan was present at the National Sports Collector’s Convention in Chicago, Illinois, It was here that he was spotted hanging out with, Mike Tyson. Hogan was apparently mourning the passing of his close friend, Roddy Piper when he met Tyson.
Hulk Hogan clicked a few pictures with ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and uploaded them on his Facebook page with the caption, “After the news yesterday, I needed someone to cheer me up. Thanks Mike much love . HH.” In the photo, the Hulkster and “The Baddest Man on the Planet” can be seen flexing their impressive physique and biceps.
While in their prime, both of them were known to be legends in their sport. While Hogan had biceps measuring 24 inches, Tyson was not far behind, with his biceps measuring 18.5 inches.
Roddy Piper lost his life to a cardiac arrest on 30th July 2015. It was after that Hogan was attending the event in Chicago and met Tyson. Hulk Hogan credited Mike Tyson for cheering his mood up, after such a devastating news.
Hulk Hogan was in the world of music before setting foot in the wrestling world
The 69-year-old had been interested in music from a young age. He spent around one decade playing fretless bass guitar in Florida. He dropped out of the University of South Florida after receiving various gigs with his band.

The Hulkster then formed the band, Ruckus with other two local musicians in 1976. The band started gaining popularity near the Tampa Bay region. Hogan revealed how various wrestlers would visit his band during their musical gigs. Hogan’s band, Ruckus, was mostly into the rock genre. The Hulkster also revealed how they mostly did covers and had a few around four to five originals, because the band did stay together for long.

However, Hogan had to bid adieu to music after he started lifting weight. He later trained for wrestling and become one of the most popular pro-wrestling stars in recent history.
