The Maverick Logan Paul has had a year to remember. Not only did he bag a lucrative contract with the major wrestling promotion WWE, but is also set to feature in the main event of the upcoming Crown Jewel pay-per-view against the Tribal Chief! What makes this feat even more impressive is the fact that Paul has been featured in only two matches in his WWE career. He’s already in Saudi Arabia for the annual event, but a recent tweet from Paul has drawn the ire of a WWE Hall of Famer.

Paul had posted an image of himself online dressed in traditional Arab attire. The Iron Sheik, the legendary wrestler with a Middle Eastern background, did not take the post kindly.

Coming back to The Maverick, he is just hours away from arguably the biggest moment of his career. The build-up to his clash with Roman Reigns has got the fans even more hyped up for the main event. Paul has had many run-ins with Reigns and his henchmen, The Bloodline, in an effort to gain steam for the upcoming encounter.

The Iron Sheik’s comments on Twitter seemed to have no effect on Paul, as he even had the audacity to like the WWE legend’s post. And he would be hoping to remain unfazed by the ever-growing stature of the Tribal Chief. All in all, the main event for Crown Jewel promises to be a closed-run affair. And, the fans can’t wait to see who comes out on top when the Challenger and the Champion collide.
