In the latest episode of the Hall Of Fame Podcast, WWE legend Booker T gave his opinion on what NXT Superstar Adam Cole should do next. He gives his valuable input into the steps that Cole should take in the near future.
“Me personally, if I had the book, if I had to pin, Adam Cole would stay in NXT a little while longer,” says Booker. “Not saying that he’s not ready to go to the main roster or anything like that, not saying that he’s gonna get lost in the shuffle or anything like that.”

Adam Cole has been in NXT for two years now. His growth has been an excellent thing to watch, and the main roster in hungry for his talents. Now, it seems like the perfect time for Cole to sit at the main table.
However, Booker T has other thoughts.
“I just think just a little more time in NXT will only serve him a little bit better. I just don’t think it’s going to hurt him at all staying in NXT a little while longer,” says Booker.
Adam Cole is being called the next Shawn Michaels
His time in NXT has earned him the praises from WWE legends. He is being strongly compared to Shawn Michaels so much so that he is being called the next Michaels. HBK himself agreed to this comparison.
His raw talent and potential make him a real gem in the business. He could be looking at a very profitable career in the company.
Booker T feels that Adam Cole still has some fields to plow in NXT, at least for the time being.

“Those guys, they need guys like Adam Cole in the system to actually, you know, as young as Adam Cole is, it’s a shorter time he’s been in the WWE and this guy, he’s really a student of the game and he can teach those guys down there in that system so much,” explains Booker.

It was recently revealed that Adam Cole still has a future ahead of him in NXT and will not be making the move to the main roster anytime soon. His amazing abilities will be the sweet fruit of NXT viewership for a few more months. WWE will hold this card in their pocket for now.
