Ahead of his match, Rollins had a few things to say to his upcoming opponent. Taking to the ring, Rollins first commented on the video package from McIntyre. The package detailed the hardships McIntyre went through to get to where he was.

Taking the mic, Rollins acknowledged the problems McIntyre faced before saying, “Boohoo.” This was a sign of insult to McIntyre despite calling him a great champion. Rollins continued, “You’re Being Scottish Baby.” But before Rollins could continue his rant, McDonagh attacked him from the back, effectively starting off their match.

During the last episode of RAW, Rollins and McIntyre got into a promo battle where the two stated why they each deserved to be the champion. While McIntyre claimed that he was the one who stood up during COVID-19 and led the charge, Rollins claimed he kept rebuilding himself to get to where he is.

During this promo battle, Rollins even claimed that McIntyre would side with the Judgment Day. However, the Scottish Warrior was quick to turn it down. Despite the heated verbal debate, the two did not throw fists at each other. McIntyre has been going solo and displaying a loner attitude for a while now, but will this help him at Crown Jewel?

McIntyre could join forces with the Judgment Day

The biggest speculation going around the internet is that McIntyre could align himself with the Judgment Day during the Crown Jewel PLE. This is because Rollins has shown his hate from the group and never wants to be like Roman Reigns. The Bloodline and Judgment Day have already come to a mutual understanding.

When Rollins called out McIntyre for getting close to Rhea Ripley and the Judgment Day, he showed a video footage taken backstage. The video showed the two talking, in a friendly manner. Till now it is unclear what was said between the two.
