Once Dwayne Johnson appeared for an interview with Muscle and Fitness, where he shared his reason for hitting the gym.
The Great One said, “I’m a long way from being evicted, but I’ll never forget it. I’ll never forget the feeling. I’ll never forget my mom crying and I’ll never forget the thought I had: ‘Well the only thing I can do is just go build my body,’ because the men who were successful that I knew of—Stallone, Arnold, Bruce Willis—they were men of action.”
The Jumanji Actor was of the perception that all the successful men he knew had a superb physique and he wanted that, too. It can be easily said that The Austrian Oak changed Johnson’s mindset at a young age about maintaining a great physique.
Johnson loves his mom and one of his top priorities was to keep his mother smiling always after being successful. The Rock explained he struggled with depression when he was facing problems in his life. However, lifting weights helped him to overcome the problems and face them with a firm attitude.
After all those years when Johnson became successful like his idols, he calls as successful. We refer him to as the current generation’s action hero in Hollywood. It was similar to how Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone were back in the day.

He said, “But then I got into it, and I jumped into it I thought, ‘If I’m going to jump into it, let me do it in a way that feels good and authentic to me and not just sharing, ‘Hey, look at my f**kin’ hamburger I ate today.’”
