Bobby Lashley Wounded Heading Into Brock Lesnar Fight at WWE Royal Rumble 2022: “I Got Kicked in the Face and Had Some Stitches”

Bobby Lashley is going to have one of the biggest matches of his pro wrestling career at this year’s Royal Rumble. ‘The Almighty’ will finally battle Brock Lesnar in a one-on-one contest for the first time inside the squared circle.

Not only is the WWE Universe excited about this battle, but Bobby Lashley is also excited about it. He is putting in all the efforts in preparing for his fight against the Beast Incarnate.

But unfortunately, Lashley is wounded, heading into his much-anticipated clash against Brock Lesnar.

But looking at Lashley’s determination and focus, it won’t be a hurdle in his preparations for the WWE Royal Rumble.

Recently in an interview on the MackMania Podcast, the former WWE Champion revealed he received stitches ahead of his clash against Lesnar.

Even after the stitches, ‘The Almighty’ looks all set to go to the limit to get the win against Brock Lesnar. The determination and passion that Lashley is displaying ahead of the WWE Championship match against Lesnar are absolutely admirable.

Lashley said, “I know my body more than anyone else. I know when it’s time to push and when it’s time to rehab. I just had Raw yesterday and some live events in the past weekend. As you can see, I busted my mouth, got kicked in the face, and had some stitches.”

Bobby Lashley is wrestling regularly on WWE Raw and WWE House Shows ahead of his massive clash against Brock Lesnar. Lashley fought against Kofi Kingston in his recent House Show matches on 22nd and 23rd January 2022.

Further, Bobby Lashley revealed Tuesday is his day of recovery. Lashley believes the recovery part is very significant for him right now.

Every pro wrestler needs preparations, and Bobby Lashley is no exception. Lashley feels he still has a lot to accomplish. During the interview, ‘The Almighty‘ revealed he is doing all the things that are needed now in trying to prepare him.

He said, “Right now, I have too much to accomplish. So, I am getting up early in the morning, getting my workouts, eating right and I am doing everything that I am supposed to do right now.”

Bobby Lashley will certainly need to do everything right during his match against Brock Lesnar to become the WWE Champion once again. It will not be a simple task for anyone to get the better of Lesnar.
