Bobby Lashley, the WWE Champion, has gone through quite a few hurdles in his professional life to reach the position he currently holds in WWE.

Reportedly, when Lashley was working with TNA, he ended up in a personal feud with Scott Steiner because of the advances Steiner made towards his ex-wife, Kristal Marshall.

The segments featured Steiner making remarks and harassing Marshall. As the segments continued, the fans soon realized that some of the words and actions used were unnecessary. All it did was attract cheap heat. In fact, nobody showed any form of interest by the time their match actually happened.

Bobby Lashley defeated Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2022

The Almighty defeated The Beast, but with help from The Tribal Chief.

During their match, Lesnar executed an F5 on Lashley. Unfortunately, the referee took some of the impact and rolled out ringside. This is something that had happened during Lesnar’s match against Reigns at Crown Jewel 2021.

Now, The Beast got distracted for a while when he went to the ropes to see the referee. This is when Reigns came to the ring out of nowhere and speared The Beast.

In what can be considered the biggest betrayal, Paul Heyman handed the belt to Roman Reigns. Reigns smashed Lesnar with it and left the ring while Heyman followed him.

MVP hyped Lashley to take this moment to pin Lesnar since he was motionless from the impact. This is exactly what he did, and ended up as the new WWE Champion.

Royal Rumble 2022 marked Lashley’s second run as a World Champion.
