Back in 2018, when Bobby Lashley came back to WWE, the fans thought maybe Lashley will get his long-overdue main event push. However, because of WWE’s lackluster writing, Lashley found himself in an awful segment. Eventually, things turned better, and he became a champion. He is currently waiting to take on ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar.
At the WWE Day 1 PPV, Brock shocked the fans when he won the WWE Championship in a fatal 5-way match. However, that night was the first time when the bodies of Lashley and Lesnar collided.

Instantly, the fans were hooked, and the WWE wasted no time in booking Lashley as the ultimate foe for Lesnar at the upcoming Royal Rumble premium live event.
Speaking on the latest episode of the ‘After The Bell‘ podcast, the former WWE champion reveals what he thinks about Lesnar as a person. ‘The Almighty’ noted that Lesnar is just like the average bully one finds at a regular park.
Furthermore, Lashley added that a bully will be a bully until someone knocks the bully down.
“Brock [Lesnar] is that guy on the park, that’s a bully. And a bully is always going to be a bully. The bully is never going to be scared. Bully is gonna be there until he gets broke.” said Lashley.
Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley will fight as opponents for the first time
As noted, at Day 1 PPV, Lashley and Lesnar exchanged a few jabs. However, WWE didn’t plan this initially, it was because Reigns tested positive for COVID-9, and WWE added Lesnar to the match just hours before the show.
However, with this latest win at the PPV, the fans will witness Lashley vs Lesnar for the first time.

Both the wrestlers share a similar background outside of the WWE ring. Both Lashley and Lesnar have been successful amateur wrestlers when they were in high school. Lashley has also tasted success inside the octagon, just like ‘The Beast‘.

With similar physical abilities, the match-up between these two heavyweights will be one to watch out for. However, Lesnar has still got a bigger opponent in the face of Roman Reigns.
