Bobby Lashley is on top of the world since winning the WWE Championship last night on Raw. ‘The Almighty’ returned to the WWE in 2017 and always had the desire to hold the top prize in the company.

Although it looked like WWE is wasting Lashley, there’s one man whose comeback turned the tables for Lashley, i.e., MVP! ‘The Almighty’ paired with MVP during the pandemic era, and things just took off.

The Hurt Business came to life, and things took a complete U-Turn for Lashley. From being in an embarrassing husband-wife storyline with Lana to winning the WWE Championship – he’s definitely come a long way.

During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Bobby Lashley detailed how important MVP has been in all of this. The CEO of The Hurt Business had nothing but high praises for the former US Champion.

Lashley detailed deep down, he always felt like he’d never be a World Champ, but it all changed when MVP came in.

He said, “One of my favorite quotes, and I’ll keeping saying it and have said it on TV also, is that sometimes you have to believe in somebody else’s belief in you.”

He continued, “You also have that little voice in the back of your head saying, ‘Is this it? You’re done, man. You’ve been doing this too long. You’re never going to get there. There’s always going to be another obstacle.’ You always have that voice.

“As much as we try to submerge that voice, that voice is always there. I didn’t listen to that voice for many years, but we had to get that voice completely out of there.

“When MVP came in, MVP was yelling so loud that I couldn’t even hear that voice,” concluded Lashley. Sometimes all we need is someone to believe in us, and MVP did just that!

Lashley’s words perfectly describe what MVP has done for him. In fact, not just for him, but for the entire Hurt Business. MVP legitimately brought back Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander from the isle of irrelevancy, and definitely deserves all the praise coming his way.
