Kofi Kingston and Bobby Lashley clashed for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank, and the excitement was palpable. Ever since Lashley’s manager, MVP, tried to get inside Kingston’s head, it has backfired. Things got worse for the champ when Kofi took matters into his own hands and wanted the Championship for himself.

Their feud reached the boiling point at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Both wrestlers have faced each other before but never on such a grand stage among fans.

‘The Almighty’ looked absolutely ready to demolish Kofi for his actions leading up to the match. Weeks of mental and physical attacks by Kofi were finally going to be repaid.

Lashley overpowered Kofi from the start. However, Kofi’s extraordinary agility was not to be taken lightly at all. The momentum of the match changed tides as both men gave it their all for the championship.

The action ensued inside the ring as well as outside it. The hopes of Kofi winning the WWE Championship looked bleak at best.

Bobby Lashley takes Kofi for a torture ride

Kofi was visibly struggling the entire match to overpower the brute strength of Lashley. The WWE Champion hit “The Dreadlocked Dynamo” with not one, not two, but three Dominators.

When it seemed like the hurt was over for Kofi, ‘The Almighty‘ continued his attack with the Hurt Lock. The submission maneuver was more than what Kofi could handle. To his credit, Kofi tried his best to fight out of it, or at least stay conscious. Unfortunately for Kingston, it was too much to bear and he passed out.

The ref quickly rang the bell, and Bobby Lashley retained his WWE Championship once again. He showed the world he is a true fighting champion.
