Both Bobby Lashley and MVP are coming closer to the end of their respective WWE contracts. A few days ago, reports came in about Lashley being removed from the internal roster and MVP following him out of the promotion as his contract is also ending. It is normal for a wrestling fan like you to wonder where the Hurt Business members will now go.

Although their stable had disbanded long ago with no revival in sight as of yet, people are still waiting for them to make a decision about their future in the industry. A WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke about the same on his podcast.

Will Bobby Lashley and MVP reunite in another wrestling promotion?

As of now, the future for both Hurt Business and former co-stars is unclear, as they have not officially revealed their future course of action. However, Booker T. recently spoke about the possibility of where they may end up and it seems like they might also eventually find themselves in a few WWE shows again if this remains the case.

When given options between seeing the Hurt Business in AEW, TNA, or Japan (NJPW), Booker T chose, “TNA,” on his Hall of Fame podcast. He revealed the reason behind his choice by saying, “Well, you know, I think they will be able to get some use. And see, the thing is, when you go to Japan, it’s just work over there.” The legend went on to add, “Going over to Japan, you’re just gonna be working. It ain’t about your promo skills, it ain’t about how really good you look as a group or anything like that.

He closed off by giving an example of the Bullet Club and how the stable was only more popular for its wrestling rather than any promos because Booker T believed that the work culture in NJPW was way different from the American promotions here.

Despite his opinion, MVP seems to be going in a completely different direction.

What is Bobby Lashley’s friend up to now?

While Bobby Lashley himself hasn’t revealed his future course of action yet, MVP has been vocal about what he wishes to do next. The wrestler is trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and wishes to use his skills and training to enter and compete in international tournaments. He recently uploaded a reel on Instagram showing that he has finally enrolled in the IBJJF. MVP is a black belt in Jiu Jitsu, as revealed by the details that he showed in the reel after filing up for the tournament. How long he will stay in the martial arts field is yet to be discovered, but if he returns to the wrestling scene again, Booker T thinks he should join Impact Wrestling alongside Lashley.

Apart from the reasons that the WWE Hall of Famer stated in his podcasts, both Lashley and MVP will also stay closer to their WWE fans given the partnership that Impact Wrestling has with the Stamford-based company. As of now, the two former co-stars may not unite for some time until MVP is done with his BJJ run. By that time, if more wrestlers who constituted the Hurt Business are released, the teammates are going to have a greater chance of reuniting for a run together.

Do you agree with Booker T’s future booking?
