Uncle Howdy’s enigma keeps on escalating on the weekly TV. A larger-than-life Raw debut of the sinister faction following weeks of mind games invited another quirk in the saga. A spine-chilling VHS tape caught everyone off-guard on Raw for the last two weeks. Despite the spookiness all around, the succinct interview between Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy showed the empathetic side of the narrative where the former freely showcased different layers of his heart.

In one instance, Uncle Howdy asked Dallas if he thought he was special, as only a “special” person would take out other people’s lives in an innate attempt like the Wyatt Sick6. After a while, the figures merged and began to talk in unison, resonating the line, ”I am nobody. I am all of us.”

If you ever wondered where that metaphysical reference has its roots, a random fan’s eagle eye is here for your rescue.

Uncle Howdy’s mysterious phrase during the VHS tape on Raw bears a deep introspection

On June 17, Dallas’ Uncle Howdy persona cast horror upon the WWE Universe alongside fellow Wyatt Sicks members Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross. Just within a week, the real-life Howdy and the character Uncle Howdy came across to open up about Bray Wyatt’s tragic death. Also, Dallas made the reason behind Chad Gable’s horrible assault clear, stating he can’t stand up to the false prophets who betray their families for their personal good. Eventually, the split personality melded into one while Uncle Howdy asked Dallas about his own self-image.

The messages of the desperate voices started ringing in the ears. ‘‘I am nobody. I am all of us. I set you free, I freed them from the cage. I am nobody! I gave you a family. I made them beautiful. I am all of them! I am the reckoning! I set them free. There you are.”  While on the surface, the phrase ‘I am nobody’ sounds like just another baffling clue among millions, the line has a deeper significance. A fan on Twitter revealed that it’s an extract from Emily Dickinson’s ‘I Am Nobody, Who Are You’ poem. The utterly thoughtful art piece depicted the luxury of being incognito to the world.
