WWE Chairman Vince McMahon surprised the WWE Universe when he stepped into Pat McAfee’s studio for an interview. This was Vince’s first one-on-one interview in 15 years. Surprisingly, this conversation with McAfee was not confrontational at all.

On the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ podcast, McMahon candidly spoke about a lot of things that really surprised the WWE Universe. While one thing was about teamwork, the other was about his effort to get The Undertaker to break character.

Vince admitted that managing WWE is a team task and that the WWE programming is a team effort. From signing a new wrestler to creating a new storyline, it is all done by a group of people.

Up until now, there have been multiple stories about how the WWE wrestlers tried to get The Undertaker to break his character on live TV. However, Vince McMahon confessed during the podcast that he also wanted ‘Taker to break his character.

The WWE chairman said, “It’s a team effort. Take ‘Taker [The Undertaker] for example. We could never break him, ever. I tried so many times. Even on camera, taking a risk trying to break him. Never could.” 

This speaks volumes about Mark Calaway’s dedication to his on-screen persona throughout his career that helped him retain the mystique and aura around his moniker.

Vince McMahon will induct The Undertaker into the Hall of Fame

The Undertaker stayed loyal to WWE during the Monday Night Wars and McMahon revealed that ‘The Deadman’ never had a conversation about potentially moving to WCW.

During the interview, Vince McMahon made a huge announcement and confessed that he will be the one who will induct The Undertaker into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2022. This is the second time the chairman will induct someone into the Hall of Fame.

The first person who Vince inducted into the Hall of Fame was ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin during the 2009 Hall of Fame ceremony.
