Bill Goldberg is one such former WWE superstars who has competed in WCW. In fact, he was one of WCW’s major star in the 1990s. In the past, some individuals have questioned if the WCW legend was safe to work with inside the ring.
Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff talked about his experience of dealing with Bill Goldberg on a business level during his time in WCW.
During an episode of After 83 Weeks, a fan asked Eric Bischoff to name his least favorite wrestler to work with.

Eric Bischoff said, “On a business level, Bill Goldberg. It wasn’t that way in the beginning. I loved working with Bill in the beginning. But once he got a hold of Henry Holmes or Henry Holmes got a hold of him, and Barry Bloom, that was miserable. That was miserable and there was no fun part to it.”

Before he appeared for WWE, Bill Goldberg rose to superstardom in WCW. He was the fifth WCW Triple Crown Champion. And the role that Eric Bischoff played in WCW’s rise in the 1990s is a secret to none. Bischoff served as the Senior Vice President of World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
Is Bill Goldberg still signed to WWE?
As per the reports, Goldberg is currently a free agent. His WWE contract expired earlier this year following his match at the WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 Premium Live Event. At the Premium Live Event, he competed against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.

Bill Goldberg gave his best to take down Roman Reigns. But just like many others, the former WCW star got defeated by the Tribal Chief. Roman Reigns won the match via submission after applying the Guillotine submission hold on Bill Goldberg.

The WCW legend is yet to compete in a match since his defeat at WWE Elimination Chamber 2022. He is currently 55 years old. It will be interesting to see if he continues his pro wrestling career or announces his retirement in the future.
