The stage is set for one of the biggest clashes at WWE’s Crown Jewel premium live event. In what comes as a pleasant surprise to LA Knight fans, the 40-year-old is finally getting a big break. His popularity has led him to a title match against Roman Reigns. Even though winning against Reigns will be a tall order, a recently uploaded video showcases Knight giving major spoilers ahead of his highly-anticipated duel.

LA Knight and Roman Reigns will fight each other in the main event of the WWE Crown Jewel 2023. Knight made his way to the Tribal Chief’s door after dispatching his henchmen at Fastlane. The popular star is in a confident mood ahead of the biggest match of his career.

LA Knight was creating massive shockwaves in the WWE Universe who continuously demanded their new favorite superstar to get a big break. Their wish has now materialized into a match every man on the roster craves. LA Knight recently appeared in the Superstar Crossover Podcast hosted by Josh Martinez of Z100. The wrestler spoke about several things during the interview, including his plan and mindset for his match against Roman Reigns.

Giving a hint of what fans can expect from him at Crown Jewel, LA Knight said, “The mindset is living up to everything that I have led the world to believe, that I am for good or for worse… So for me, it’s going into Saudi Arabia, whether I come out with that title or not, taking a piece of Roman Reigns with me. In the sense that people are going to remember this.”

He then addressed people thinking that his rise to the top was a flash in the pan. “I think flash in the pan wouldn’t have last this long at this point or gotten this hot. Uh so for me uh it’s just kind of to go in there and uh do my thing and keep doing me. Uh as vague as that might sound that’s the…. the biggest truth I can give you.”

While Knight couldn’t translate his thoughts into words, the WWE Universe is eagerly waiting for his thoughts into fists. 

Knight is aware of the big responsibility he has on his shoulders. In fact, he also addressed that he will prove to everyone that he isn’t just an overnight fad.

Knight to defend the support and honor of his fans

While Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Knight will also be defending the hopes of the people around him. Fans have rallied around Knight and his soaring popularity has led the WWE to book him into a title match against their current biggest star.

LA Knight strongly conveyed that his match with Roman will eliminate all doubters who think he’s all hype and no substance. Knight is going against the fifth-longest WWE Championship holder of all time. Moreover, this will be his first main event singles match, so the odds may seem against him at the moment.
