WrestleMania 38 saw Stone Cold Steve Austin return for a match in WWE after 19 long years. He had a No Holds Barred match against Kevin Owens on Mania day 1, which was praised by many fans and critics. Not only that, but Austin also rolled back the years as he got involved in a segment with Vince McMahon on WrestleMania Day 2.

However, after a stunning performance by the 57-year-old Austin, fans are wondering if they will see him having more matches in WWE.

Recently, WrestlingNews.co shared a report regarding Stone Cold’s WrestleMania return. The report stated The Texas Rattlesnake does not want to have more matches in the future.

Austin retired back in 2003 and had no intentions of returning. However, after WWE insisted ‘The Rattlesnake’ make a comeback for a match, he returned to face Kevin Owens at Mania 38.

The Rattlesnake during his promo at WrestleMania 38 said that he had this first match in Texas and could have a last one in Texas too. He got a chance to retire on his own terms after having an amazing match.

Austin set a record of headlining the grandest stage of all at 57 years old. His last match was at WrestleMania 19 against The Rock when he was 39 years old.

There are many superstars who retired and then had returned to the company to have a few matches. Vince McMahon would love to have Austin in a WWE ring again but, The Rattlesnake is satisfied with his match against Kevin Owens in front of the Texas crowd and does not plan to wrestle again. 

Vince McMahon’s reaction to botched Stone Cold Steve Austin stunner

Stone Cold and Vince McMahon’s feud started in 1998 and it ended around the year 2001. However, post-2001, there have been multiple occasions when The Boss and The RattleSnake have shared the ring.

At WrestleMania 38, Austin and Vince once again shared the ring. The Rattlesnake came out to the ring when Vince and Austin Theory were celebrating after McMahon wrestled and won his match against the Punter Pat McAfee.

Stone Cold came to the ring and gave a stunner to McAfee, Austin Theory, and Vince McMahon. Notably, the watchable moment was Vince botching a Stone Cold Stunner.

McMahon did not take the move as it was intended, and it was a funny moment. We saw Austin laughing after he gave the stunner.

However, Vince McMahon was reported to be not bothered by the botch and was happy the whole WrestleMania weekend as they gave a Stupendous Show.
