It’s always amazing to see our favorite wrestlers recover from injuries that threatened their careers. Today, Big E posted an Instagram story that confirmed that his recovery was moving faster. Big E is a big draw for WWE and his return will be significant for the promotion.

From being the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions to becoming WWE Champion, Big E has shown that he can hang with anyone in any role. But, just a few months ago, he fell victim to a serious injury. Getting him back in the squared circle is important for WWE as the fans have been clamoring for “Star Power” on the weekly TV.
Former WWE Champion Big E’s injury update
Today, Big E took to Instagram to post a story that showed him throwing a neck brace into the bin. As we know, Big E suffered a broken neck with fractures on his C1 and C6 vertebrae.

Even the two clips that Big E shared after this injury were jolly and happy, so we can be perfectly positive that the ‘Power of Positivity’ man will eventually come back sooner rather than later.
How did Big E get injured?
On the shows leading up to WrestleMania, Big E and Kofi Kingston were to face Sheamus and Ridge Holland in a tag team match. During the match, however, a botched belly to belly suplex led the former WWE Champion to suffer a horrible neck injury.
The next morning, Big E sent a message to the whole WWE Universe updating us about his injury. While he did inform us about the C1 and C6 injuries, there were no displacements or damage to the spinal cord.

Due to the sudden injury, WWE shifted its WrestleMania plans. While there were plans for a 6-Man Tag Team Match with The New Day facing off against Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland, they converted it into a Tag Team bout. Whether the feud might have involved Big E and Sheamus in a grudge match. Or another Tag Team run for the trio. We will only know after E’s big return.
