‘Big Brock Lesnar Fan’ Logan Paul Recalls His ‘Cool’ First Meeting with the Former UFC Champion: “That Was It”

Famous YouTube celebrity Logan Paul will have his biggest moment in WWE when he faces Roman Reigns next month at Crown Jewel. The upstart wrestler will wrestle ‘The Tribal Chief’ for the Undisputed Universal title in Saudi Arabia. Although he is yet to convince many fans that he belongs in the main event spot in the WWE, he remains committed to earning his stripes.

He has been involved in intensive training to prepare for the big match. Recently, he discussed his match with Reigns and talked about his first meeting with Brock Lesnar, whom he admired growing up.

Logan Paul recalls meeting with Lesnar for the first time

There may be questions surrounding Logan Paul getting a world title match in just his third outing in the company, but what cannot be doubted is that he’s a fan of the business.

He has spoken about his admiration of wrestlers and growing up as a fan. He also impressed a lot of naysayers in the ring during his first match at WrestleMania. Moreover, he looked even better when he competed in his first singles match at SummerSlam earlier this year.

Paul has put in the hard work and respects the business. In a recent interview with Inside The Ropes, The Youtuber recently talked about the surreal experience of meeting Brock Lesnar for the first time.

He mentioned that he is a fan of ‘The Beast’ and saw him in the UFC while growing up. The Maverick recalled, “I saw him at SummerSlam, and that one was interesting for me. Because. and I think Brock probably knows this, I’ve talked about it before. I’m like a big Brock Lesnar fan, because I watched UFC growing up like religiously. And so when I met him for the first time it was, I had to play cool. I think I said like, ‘Hey Mr. Brock Lesnar, nice to meet you.’ And that was it.”

The YouTube celebrity further added how it was surreal for him to meet the WWE superstars. He continued, “But yeah it is so cool. Because you know, you see these WWE Superstars on TV your whole life. And then all of a sudden somehow I’m in it. I’m meeting them in person, and it’s you’re meeting superheroes essentially as an adult now. And it is really cool.”

Since Lesnar was an impressive combat athlete himself, it is understandable why Logan Paul is a huge fan of the former UFC Champion.

So far, the fans may have not warmed up to Logan Paul as the WWE expected. But at the end of the day, he’s just a fan getting to live his dream. His fan moment with Brock Lesnar is further proof of what this all means to him.

Paul will now look to keep his perfect WWE record intact when he faces Roman Reigns on November 5 in Riyadh.
