SummerSlam 2021 was an absolute blast. John Cena and Roman Reigns brought the roof down, Brock Lesnar and Becky Lynch returned, and so much more. But, if there’s one thing that did not sit well with the WWE Universe, it’s Bianca Belair losing the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title.

Several individuals have expressed their frustration over WWE booking Becky Lynch to squash Belair in under a minute, 26 seconds to be precise, and take the title from her. One of the recent individuals who have commented about this is Ric Flair when he was on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette.

“I didn’t like it. Sometimes, I don’t understand what they do with anybody, Ashley included. I didn’t like it at all. I thought Bianca worked so hard. She’s really a nice person. I like her husband, they seem really close. There are a lot of things that make her unique. I was hoping that someday, I think Bianca and Charlotte could be huge one day. Obviously, the two best athletes in the women’s division. That’s a whole different way of telling a story and building up to the event. Plus, the fact that they can do some stuff that no one else can.” H/t Oral Sessions With Renee Paquette

To be honest, he’s correct. Bianca Belair has done much to prove why she is worthy of the SmackDown Women’s title, and maybe squashing her wasn’t the way to go.
