Bianca Belair Reveals the Iconic Character She Wanted Her Husband To Play in WrestleMania 39 Titanic Parody Trailer

WWE Universe rightfully considers WrestleMania the biggest entertainment event. It comes once a year with the best storylines, the best venue, and a number of surprises and thrills for the fans. While the breathtaking matches await the fans, a couple of amazing trailers actually added fuel to the hype ahead of the show.

As WrestleMania goes Hollywood this year, WWE has lately released a bunch of movies parody trailers, which include the iconic scene from the movie Titanic. It featured probably the sweetest WWE couple, Bianca Belair and Montez Ford. But the former was not the initial choice as ‘Rose’, according to her latest claim.

Anyone could barely forget the scene from Titanic where Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet stood on the bow of that fateful ship. The WWE played it out a bit differently with Ford trying to take a selfie and ending up dropping his phone on the water.

The EST of WWE recently shared the shooting experience during her interview with The Whole story podcast. Belair mentioned that Ford was going to play the Rose character to make it a bit humorous.

Reflecting on the whole thing, she noted, “They wanted him to be the one flying out about the boat. We kind of joked and tried to talk them into it, but they were like, ‘No, no, no, you can be Rose.’ But it was fun.”

Shooting for such promos is definitely an entertaining yet enriching experience for all the WWE stars. Describing that amazing feeling, the RAW Woman’s Champion continued, “It’s really cool that we get to be part of these and in the future, people are going to come back and watch ours. I actually felt like I was on the Titanic and my outfit was so close to Rose’s outfit and when I looked out the way they had it set up it actually looked like I was looking at the ocean.”

Ford and Belair are one of the most adorable WWE couples and hence perfectly fit the iconic roles of Jack and Rose, respectively. The couple exchanged vows back in 2018 after a short courtship period. The former tag team champion and current Raw Women’s champion had a crush on each other immediately after their first meeting.

However, Belair managed to make the first move, as Ford was nervous in the starting phase of their story. The celebrity couple is currently on a roll in their personal life as well as in their professional life, with Blair completing 344 days as the reigning RAW Women’s champion breaking the record for the longest reigning black singles Champion in WWE history.

The 33-year-old is all set to defend her Raw Woman’s Championship title against Asuka at WrestleMania 39. However, there is still no definite spot for Montez Ford at the Show of the Shows so far.
