Johnny Gargano bid goodbye to his WWE family and universe in a promo on NXT 2.0 last night. After WarGames and an emotional moment, everyone was curious to see what comes next for the former NXT champion.
In a heartfelt promo, Johnny cut an emotional set that revealed he would take a break from NXT.

He told the fans that he regrets nothing but didn’t enjoy his NXT run more. He thanked them for helping him live his dream and always supporting him.
Regarding his future, he said, “I don’t know what my immediate future holds; that’s up in the air now still, I may do some things here and there,”
“In February, I’m going to start the most important job of my life because I’m going to be a dad,” Gargano said.

Being the fan-favorite, Gargano stirred up many people’s emotions through his words. Many reacted to his promo, including WWE superstars.
After NXT went off-air, Shawn Michaels came out to the ring and hugged Johnny.

However, one of the most anticipated questions in the wrestling world is: will Johnny leave WWE? The answer will be evident in the coming weeks, but we should be grateful to have witnessed greatness as fans. Gargano is a gem, and wrestlers like him are scarce.
