Further, he explained how this match differed from the rest of his matches. “Most of Goldberg’s matches are short, they’re impactful. You want to see the Spear, you want to see the Jackhammer, you want to see him freak out and bring the intensity. This is a longer match than we are used to seeing from Goldberg and for my money, and at least pertaining to his WWE run, best Goldberg match that I’ve seen,” Graves added.

Why was it so important for Goldberg to win against Bobby Lashley at the Crown Jewel PPV
This rivalry between Goldberg and Bobby Lashley got really personal when Lashley took out Goldberg’s son following their match at the SummerSlam PPV. The officials called the match off because of an injury that Goldberg suffered during the match.
This enraged Lashley, who then brutally assaulted Goldberg with a steel chair. Unable to see his father suffer, Goldberg’s son made his way to the ring and jumped on Lashley’s back. But The Almighty soon got the boy locked in the Hurt Lock.
The WWE Hall of Famer was absolutely furious about this behavior from Lashley. In September, Goldberg returned to Raw and declared war on Lashley, and was desperate to exact revenge.
Lashley then challenged the WWE legend to a No Holds Barred match as he looked to finish Goldberg’s career. In the following episodes on Raw, Lashley fired shots at the WWE legend by comparing him to ‘A Rabid Animal’.
