WWE Money in the Bank was an absolute blast. The company managed to pull off an event that featured a major comeback, title matches, exceptional executions, and a unique energy.
This was the first PPV since the pandemic that the fans present in the arena and as it is anybody’s guess, the energy was electrifying. However, as majestic as it gets, there are highs and lows at every PPV event.

John Cena returned
With a blast, the Leader of the Cenation returned to WWE. He arrived at the arena and confronted Roman Reigns. As of now, there hasn’t been any confirmation of their match. However, it’s possible the company will try to book Cena vs Reigns for SummerSlam 2021.

Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley retain their titles
In absolutely brutal matches, Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley retained their titles against Edge and Kofi Kingston respectively.
Both these matches were exactly how the WWE Universe predicted they would be. It showcased both champions at their absolute best and prepared the path for their next big feud, which would probably lead up to SummerSlam 2021.

Charlotte Flair becomes the new Raw Women’s Champion
The Queen has been trying to topple Rhea Ripley from her position as the Raw Women’s Champion since WrestleMania 37. However, she’s been unsuccessful at every attempt.
Coming to Money in the Bank, Flair showed an excellent feat of skills and moves which led her to become the new Raw Women’s Champion.
Big E and Nikki A.S.H. hold Money in the Bank contracts
There were several big names in both Money in the Bank ladder matches. However, Big E and Nikki winning the briefcases were slightly unpredictable.
Nevertheless, this was a tremendous moment for the Superstars and WWE is definitely planning to give the Superstars a huge push.
Worst Moments of WWE Money in the Bank
Rhea Ripley drops her title
While it’s obvious, that if Flair won, Ripley lost. However, The Nightmare just became champion. Moreover, she was doing quite well as a champion.
Therefore, her dropping the title within months was a low moment in the PPV. Hopefully, she’ll get a title run again in the future.
Charlotte Flair flips off the WWE Universe
The Queen secured the title but ended up attacking the WWE Universe with an obscene gesture. While playing her character, this could be considered as taking things a bit too far, especially in the PG era.

Zelina Vega admits to a botch
The Superstars admitted to actually slipping during the ladder match. Even if nobody caught it, her admitting it made the botch even clearer to the WWE audience.
