Last year in December, WWE displayed a storyline where Dominik Mysterio went to jail. This happened because, according to the storyline, Dominik tried to ruin Christmas for the Mysterio Family just as he ruined Thanksgiving for them earlier that year. However, the WWE Universe saw his vile attempt go down the drain.
Since then, the Young Mysterio has carried his EX-con Dom prison character very well. Every now and then, fans see him boasting about how he survived the harsh night in jail. Recently, WWE shared a video of him flexing his prison gym routine.

WWE released a video on its official Instagram handle showcasing how the Raw brand superstar used to work out when he was in prison. The caption in the post reads, “Gotta bulk up when you’re behind bars! 😤👊”

The video begins with the focus of the camera on Dom’s face. It looks like he is lifting a very heavy bar of weight. As the video zooms out, the fans get to see that what appeared to be a heavyweight bar was merely two lightweight dumbbells.
Later in the clip, fans see Sheamus and Drew McIntyre coming to check out Mysterio and leaving with baffled looks on their faces. And the video ends with the camera zooming in on Dom’s face again.
WWE has been trying to give a comedic touch to the heel Mysterio character, and it looks like the efforts are paying off.
Fans are enjoying Prison Dom Character
As per the response from the fans, it is looking like the WWE Universe is pretty much invested in EX-con Dom prison gimmick. The abovementioned video of him is garnering quite a good response from the fans.
