Besides Setting Up His $800M Empire, Dwayne Johnson Selflessly Invested 15 Years of His Life to Build Better “Ecosystem” for Marine Creatures

On weekends, Johnson likes to fish on his property. 

Nothing can help him get by the way fishing does. As Dwayne Johnson fans know, it’s intriguing to imagine him setting out on the weekend with his fishing kit and Luke Bryan’s music in the background. That said, Johnson has dedicated a portion of his life to building a better world for sea creatures.

Dwayne Johnson has worked with Lake management science for more than 15 years

When you see Dwayne Johnson fishing, you can’t help but think that he devours everything he catches. But you would be wrong. Johnson likes to catch and release. In fact, he has various properties, with acres of lakes dedicated to raising various fish. 

Taking to Instagram, Johnson opened up about his work with the Lake Management Science team, which helped him learn about creating an excellent ecosystem for the fish to live and flourish. He stated, “For 15+ years now I’ve worked closely with lake management science teams to create the most optimal ecosystem for the fish to thrive. Learned a lot. Cool stuff.”

Johnson further added that he likes to get inside the water to assist the fish with the lactic acid buildup in their muscles. It helps ease oxygen back into their gills. Johnson also revealed that he has Largemouth Bass, Stripers, Trout, Sunfish, and a “big, ugly, pissed off snapping turtle that will bite one’s fingers off” on his property.

His work with lake management science explains why he is so adept at fishing. He was recently praised by an MMA legend for skillfully catching and releasing a massive largemouth bass.
