Very few superstars reach that level where fans love them so much that they keep asking WWE to push them. But there is one superstar currently whom the fans adore a lot. So much so that even when Triple H thanked everyone for the birthday wishes on Twitter, fans were still asking for pushing him into the main event category.
We are talking about none other than the gifted ‘Blabbermouth’ LA Knight. And recently a WWE Legend and two-time Hall Of Famer praised Knight. While also attributing The Undertaker for LA Knight’s success.

Knight made his WWE debut on RAW in January 2022. He held the gimmick of performing the duties of a manager for ‘Knight Model Management’ which later changed its name to ‘Maximum Male Models’. But after getting little to no success, he reverted to his LA Knight persona.
He gained popularity as he began a feud with Bray Wyatt. And during one such promo of Knight on the 30th-anniversary episode of RAW, The Undertaker made a special appearance. Furthermore, he and Bray Wyatt teamed up to annihilate Knight in the ring. And Ric Flair believes that this exact moment with The Undertaker helped save LA Knight’s struggling career.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Ric Flair expressed his views about that night’s events. He praised Knight saying, “The greatest thing he did, I didn’t realize if they rehearsed it or not, or he was being a smarta**, but when he told the Undertaker that Joe Rogan said that wrestlers today were soft, it popped me. That reunion when he cracked on Taker, I think that kinda started a roll for him.”
And rightly so because post that interaction with The Deadman, LA Knight’s popularity has only been soaring up. And now Knight has another chance at Championship glory as he will be part of the ‘Slimjim Summerslam Battle Royal’.
LA Knight will be part of ‘The Slimjim Summerslam Battle Royal’ including RAW and Smackdown superstars
Fans were really rooting for LA Knight to win MITB but sadly Damian Priest emerged victorious that night. Similarly, fans wanted Knight to win the fatal 4-way match last week on SmackDown to get a shot at The United States Championship. But again, Rey Mysterio won that bout. LA Knight always seems to be getting close to Championship glory but loses at the last minute and that’s what’s getting the fans disappointed.

But it seems like LA Knight will get another shot at title glory at SummerSlam. He and Sheamus were announced as the first 2 contenders from the SmackDown brand for the Battle Royal. The winner of this Battle Royal stands a chance to challenge any champion on their respective brand. So if Knight wins, he can either challenge Austin Theory for The United States Championship. Or go straight for the Top Dawg and challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
