Hulk Hogan recently appeared in a Muscle and Health Magazine interview and relayed how he played a part in helping American Idol Judge Simon Cowell come to The United States of America. According to him, they met at Wembley Stadium sometime between the 1980s and 1990s.

Hogan claimed that he was slated to compete at Wembley Stadium. In attendance were some kids from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Hogan went on to say that one kid was seriously ill and had a body odor. Furthermore, he then claimed that while he was wrestling, he grew solicitous about the kid as he was nowhere to be found.

After the match, Hogan learned that the child had passed away. Connecting the story to how he met Cowell, Hogan claimed that he and his then-manager, Jimmy Hart, wrote 12 songs for the boy that night. Hart used his influence with Select Records to have Simon Cowell produce the album.

After flying back to the States, Hart and Hogan seemingly decided to continue making music, seeking assistance from Cowell with the production of their music. During a recent edition of Official Jim Cornette, the 61-year-old blasted Hogan for lying. According to him, Simon Cowell should drag Hogan to open court for slandering him.

He said, “Slander! That’s what Simon Cowell would say, he’s been slandered because he was not Hulk Hogan’s lackey and errand boy here. That he’s a successful man on his own and if that’s the case, then I suggest that he should call this man to get even in open court.”

He continued, “And maybe if we can ever find that family from Wembley Stadium that left in intermission because their sick kid with BO died in the middle of the show when Hogan was wrestling, they might want to sue as well, for Hulk Hogan slandering and maligning the kid to say he stunk.”

Cornette has never shied away from calling Hulk Hogan a serial liar. In addition, even wrestling fans have joined Cornette in bashing Hulk Hogan for potentially fabricating the narrative.

While speaking further during the interview, Cornette recalled that Hulk Hogan was not a part of the WWE roster. Moreover, Wembley Stadium was the home of SummerSlam 1992, which saw Bret Hart and The British Bulldog lock horns in the main event.

Nonetheless, Simon Cowell indeed worked with the Stamford-based promotion in 1992 for the WrestleMania album. However, his connection with Hulk Hogan cannot be confirmed by anyone but him.
