As WrestleMania invades the city of Philadelphia this weekend, The Rock didn’t hesitate to give a preview of his heel traits to the crowd during the WWE World at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Thursday. The Brahma Bull showed up almost two hours late at the arena and invited a wave of backlash from the crowd. He didn’t even stop there as he laid the blame on the Philadelphia Eagles in a savage tweet. But fans aren’t convinced of his gesture and buried him with an unbridled trolling spree all across the internet.

The Rock pissed the Philadelphia crowd off ahead of WrestleMania 40 after late appearance

The Rock’s involvement in the exaggerated build-up to WrestleMania 40 ain’t a thing to brush aside. His extreme heel antics against the American Nightmare earned him a chance to tear Rhodes and Rollins apart in a grudge tag team match on the first night of WrestleMania. Now, with the grand night edging closer, it would have been absurd if we didn’t get to see The Rock cooking some more sass. Ahead of the Shows of the Show, WWE announced “The Great One” would appear at WWE World to add to the hype. But in a unique twist of the event, The Rock arrived nearly two hours late at the arena, giving fans ample scope to raise questions. To add to the escapade, he issued a justification post for giving the critics a weird justification. He said he was busy watching Jalen Hurts loose on TV.

However, fans aren’t buying any of it.

Fans fire back at the ‘Final Boss’ despite his sarcastic justification

WWE fans have enjoyed the fruits of The Rock’s labor for a long time. However, they did not take kindly to his recent appearance. They called the star up for being extremely non-punctual at the pre-WrestleMania event and the useless jibe to the legendary NFL team.

One fan redirected his anger onto his Hollywood project, Black Adam.

These users launched brutal digs at The Brahma Bull.
