Before Their Infamous Break Up, Vin Diesel Got ‘Emotionally Exhausted’ While Filming With Dwayne Johnson in 2011

Long before Dwayne Johnson‘s eventual return to the Fast & Furious franchise in 2023, he had departed from the $7 billion worth franchise. Dwayne Johnson had parted ways after facing trouble working with Vin Diesel and decided it would be best for him to not continue working in the franchise.

However, he recently resolved all of his issues with Vin Diesel and returned to Fast X to please his fans. The 51-year-old made his debut in the franchise back in 2011 for Fast Five, and ever since then has been a part of all the films except F9, the ninth film of the franchise. In a video doing rounds on the internet, Vin Diesel was found stating how exhausting it was working with Johnson, years before their feud began.

Dwayne Johnson made his debut for the franchise in 2011 in Fast Five. He started as an antagonist to Diesel in the film but eventually paired up with him as the film franchise progressed. The first film had an intense action sequence between the two alphas of the film.

Speaking during a promotional event and discussing the backstage struggle while shooting, Diesel claimed it took a lot of physical and emotional toll on him. He said, “The fight that I take the most pride in is Dom and Hobbs in Fast and Furious 5. Breakaway walls, glass shattering, it was more than just physically exhausting. It was emotionally exhausting.”

He further stated, ” I remember Dwayne Johnson who has had a professional career in wrestling, at the end of the week saying, that this was the most exhausting fight he’s ever been a part of. And with guys like Dwayne and I, that are gonna slave and work five days in a row on this scene unrelenting sweat-drenched It was emotionally exhausting. It was physically taxing.”

Johnson then went on to star in the next few films for the franchise, including a stand-alone spin-off, ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ before departing from the series. He recently made his return during the post-credits scene of Fast X.

The Rock also took to his Instagram to reveal his future in the $7 billion film franchise.

The Brahma Bull of WWE recently took to his Instagram to reveal his future in the franchise. He claimed that he and Diesel got together and resolved their issues after he put the fans over his own personal issues.

He further stated that he will next star in another spin-off film, that will eventually set up the next film in the series, Fast X Part 2. Fast X was filled up with several intense action sequences itself, and even Johnson’s return scene was one of the most thrilling scenes in the film.
