The Megastar LA Knight has been in the pro-wrestling business for over two decades now. Formerly known as Eli Drake at Impact Wrestling, he was called back to WWE after a hiatus of 10 years. However, a recent clip has surfaced on X displaying LA Knight as a WWE fan who came to enjoy a wrestling match in the front row. The moment beautifully captures LA Knight’s journey throughout his pro-wrestling career.

Knight’s stock has been on the rise recently, and it seems he had a connection with WWE way before his career skyrocketed in the promotion.

LA Knight’s meteoric rise as The Megastar has brought back sweet memories of The Attitude Era as he resembles Stone Cold and The Rock to an extent. With a main event push just around the corner, each of Knight’s appearances is now being noticed and appreciated.

Wrestlelamia.co.uk tweeted on X on September 26 a moment from the Summer Slam 2011 match between Sheamus and WWE Champion Mark Henry. The caption read, “The overreaction with the crowd plant in the front 😂😂 Plus LA Knight…

The match mentioned in the tweet was a SummerSlam match from 2011. Mark Henry was going through his Hall of Pain gimmick, which was the best phase of his WWE career. When Henry threw out an open challenge for the title, Sheamus took the opportunity to take on the World’s Strongest Man.

But the moment referenced in the tweet was related to the special appearance of a WWE superstar. In the short clip, Mark Henry slams Sheamus through the barricade which receives a reaction from the crowd. But, sitting in the front row was LA Knight in a grey T-shirt and blue jeans who was shocked to see the slam.

LA Knight has multiple stints with WWE before his current run

The clip describes the rough journey LA Knight has gone through in the wrestling business to reach his current stature. It was also referenced by The Miz during his promo with LA Knight when he mocked Knight for his wrestling career.

However, LA Knight has made many sporadic appearances in the WWE other than this. He was a part of NXT from 2013 to 2014. Some of his other appearances include sharing the stage with Jon Moxley and Big Show in 2006. In another moment he appeared as a security guard in a segment on RAW for CM Punk and Kevin Nash in 2011.
