Fresh from her NXT Women’s Championship win, Becky Lynch’s life story is hitting the shelves. Titled “Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl,” this highly-anticipated book was initially teased by Lynch in 2020, through Gallery Books, a Simon & Schuster imprint.

The memoir delves into the earliest chapters of her wrestling career, tracing her humble beginnings and her meteoric rise to fame. Rebecca Quin, raised in Dublin, Ireland, defied norms from a young age. She hails from a devout Catholic family. A recent Twitter post confirms the final cover of the autobiography, in which Becky can be seen donning a ravishing leather jacket stating, “Not your average, average girl.” Wondering what is covered in it? We do have the gist of the synopsis available. As per the synopsis, her spirited rebellion included roughhousing with neighborhood kids and hosting secret parties in her parents’ absence. The question was what is the biggest question that the younger talents come to her with? Becky Lynch shared,“This business is like surfing. You’ve got to catch those waves, paddle, and be ready to get on that wave. I don’t know much about surfing, so maybe this analogy doesn’t work. But it’s about catching the waves and being OK in the downtime.”

According to her, it’s about seizing opportunities and embracing the downtime. As a seasoned veteran celebrating a decade in the industry, Lynch encourages younger talents to take this advice to heart.

Lynch is gearing up to defend her NXT Women’s Championship against former champion Tiffany Stratton in Fastlane 2023. It will be in an Extreme Rules Match at NXT No Mercy this Saturday 30th September. The winner will go on to face Tegan Nox for the title on RAW the following Monday.
