The WWE Universe knows of Becky Lynch as a personality who speaks her mind bluntly. Without any doubt, she is one of the lead talents present on the roster. And after attaining a major victory at WrestleMania 39, she put forward a crucial point for everyone to highlight their attention to. This time, she pointed fingers at the promotion while raising her voice for the weekly talents.

Even after attaining a major victory at WrestleMania 39, The Man wasn’t quite satisfied. She was disappointed with the company’s treatment of Logan Paul despite him contributing very little to WWE. She has been vocal about her opinions on this previously as well. However, again a similar question came her way, but this time she seemed to be more direct with her statements.

Speaking on Know Mercy with Stephen A. Smith, On the eve of Wrestlemania 39, The Man discussed several interesting topics from the world of wrestling. But one that attracted major attention was her comments on keeping WWE’s top talents in shadows while prioritizing celebs like Logan Paul and Pat McAfee.

Lynch said, “The Pat McAfees of the world or the Logan Pauls can have three matches a year or one match and we can put a spotlight on them and give them their kudos and their flowers and say, ‘Well done.’ 

“But this business is hard. This business is so hard and it’s tough, and it’s skill and it’s craft, and without those people that know how to do this in the way that we do it, then it will die,” she added. 

Her straightforward remarks might hurt some. But they gave voice to those weekly talents who work hard every day to get into the spotlight. Here, she highlighted how a business cannot just run on the shoulders of celebs. Thus, the promotion should also appreciate and give a way for its own superstars to rise. And to make her point more concrete, she pointed to some recent instances while taking a dig at McAfee and Paul.

During the interview, she was also asked if she thinks that performers like her and her husband, Seth Rollins, deserve a greater level of appreciation. In response, she said a loud yes and then also highlighted how at last year’s SummerSlam; she had to fight a little to get a women’s title match. Adding to it, Lynch mentioned Logan Paul and Pat McAfee getting a match but not Rollins, despite working the entire year.
