Becky Lynch is Confident of Embarrassing Ronda Rousey in Future One on One Clash

WWE is now constantly working hard to promote its women’s division. Since the women’s revolution back in 2015, many women superstars rose in the business. Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch are two of them. They both have worked very hard to build the platform for other superstars to represent themselves.

While Becky has returned from her break has become the champion, Rousey is yet to make her comeback. Recently, Becky, in a podcast, spoke about Rousey’s return, and a potential one-on-one match.

Becky Lynch’s desire for a singles match with Ronda Rousey

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey had an intense rivalry in the past. ‘The Man- Becky Lynch’ and ‘Rowdy- Ronda Rousey’ had even headlined the main event of WWE’s biggest pay-per-view – WrestleMania 35. But it was a triple threat contest, as ‘The Queen- Charlotte Flair’ was also a part of the match.

The match was for the undisputed WWE women’s championship, as both Raw and SmackDown’s women’s championships were on the line. Becky won the match and became the first woman to hold both titles. Since then, Charlotte and Becky had many singles matches, but Rousey and Becky failed to register even a single match.

“Yeah, and I do think it will. The fact that I’ve had a baby and came back so great that she’ll probably want to one-up me. She’ll try to come back in three months, then I’ll be right there to punch her right in the face, give her a Rock Bottom, out of here in 20 seconds, Ronda. So long, good night.”

Rousey and Travis Browne welcomed a baby girl in August 2021. Given Becky’s comments, she feels Rousey could return by the end of the year. However, it is to be noted that ‘The Man’ stayed away for almost 8 months after her delivery.

When will Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey take place?

Becky will defend her SmackDown’s women championship against Bianca Blair and Sasha Banks in a triple threat match at WWE Crown Jewel on Oct 21, 2021; Rousey has given no hint of returning soon.

As the franchise has released nothing regarding this too, it is difficult to say when the two could collide. However, after Becky Lynch’s comments, Ronda might plan for a comeback, and reply to her in the squared ring.
