Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan produced a match to remember for the fans on tonight’s main event of Monday Night Raw. This is for the time in a while that we got two women main eventing on WWE Raw. The first time it happened was back on December 6, 2004.
On that day, Lita and Trish Stratus contested for the Women’s Championship. And today, Liv and Becky paid homage to them through their match.
During the match, Morgan came flying in from the ring and hit Becky with a suicide dive. Similar to the way Lita did it on Trish Stratus back in 2004. It was indeed a perfect tribute to the WWE legends.
Ultimately, it was Becky Lynch who got the victory. She successfully defended her Raw Women’s Championship against Liv Morgan in the main event of tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. But it was not a clean victory for Big Time Becks.

After weeks and weeks of build-up, Liv Morgan finally got her opportunity for the Raw Women’s Championship. Going into tonight’s match, Morgan had all the momentum after she hit Lynch with her finishing move last week on Raw.
But it wasn’t the case this week. After putting up an impressive fight, Morgan got defeated by the Raw Women’s Championship. The finish to the match was quite similar to the finish to Becky’s match against Charlotte Flair at the Survivor Series PPV. It will be interesting to see if Morgan will get another chance for the title after such a brilliant performance or will there be another challenger for Becky Lynch next week on Raw.

But Morgan got her way back into the match and tried to pick up a quick win, with one pinfall after the other. Liv hit Lynch with a dropkick from the top rope and followed it up with knees to the face outside the ring. Morgan then showed her athleticism and came flying in from the ring to hit a suicide dive on Lynch.
However, Lynch stopped her momentum and hit Morgan with a superplex from the top rope. ‘The Man’ then pinned Morgan after hitting her with an Inverted DDT. But Morgan refused to go down tonight. She came back into the match and hit Lynch with a brutal kick to Lynch’s face. Liv caused further damage to Lynch’s face by hitting her with double knees to the face.

But ultimately, it was Lynch who got the win. It so happened that after Lynch tried to hit Morgan with a Manhandle Slam, Morgan countered it into a pinfall. But just like the ending of Becky Lynch’s WWE Survivor Series match, she reversed it another pinfall. But, unlike Morgan, Becky successfully pinned Liv with the help of the ropes.
