WWE Superstar, Bayley, will be out of action for 9 months because of an injury suffered during training before her match at Money in the Bank.

WWE proclaimed that Bayley is unfit to participate in her ‘I Quit’ match against the current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair, for the championship. They further confirmed that a replacement for Bayley will be decided on the following episode of SmackDown.

Bayley soon released a video addressing the injury she suffered. As one can see, she was still in character while shooting the video and blamed the fans for her injury.

“I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking that this sucks, because you wanted to see the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion in history regain what’s rightfully hers. To walk into Money in the Bank and beat Bianca Belair once and for all and take back my title.

“But now, I’m hurt, and now that I think about it, it’s not what you’re thinking. You don’t care at all. You don’t care that I’m hurt. That I did this to get better for Money in the Bank. That I did this to be the best. That I did this for YOU!. This. This is all your fault. This is all your fault! I don’t give a damn who they put in my place because they are not as good as me,” Bayley said.

According to the latest update from PWInsider, Bayley suffered a torn ACL while training at the Performance Center earlier this week.

What’s next for Bayley?

Bayley feuded with Bianca Belair for almost two months for the women’s title on WWE SmackDown. ‘The EST’ dethroned Bayley from the championship at WrestleMania and has since defended the title successfully. She won again at WrestleMania Backlash the following month and kept her title again at Hell in a Cell in June.

If she’s out for 9 months, that would rule Bayley out of major PPVs like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania next year.

The details on how she suffered this “torn ACL” are yet to come out, but this injury will clearly remove Bayley from the title picture, and she will have to work her way to the top again when she returns to the WWE ring.
