Bayley was watching the “I Quit” match between Melina and Beth Phoenix. She posted about it, a fan re-uploaded it on Twitter, and Phoenix responded. However, this is just the beginning!
Beth Phoenix responded by saying “Bayley loves me”. However, The Role Model had a different view, and said she was cheering for Melina and will never forgive Phoenix. But, why?
This beef between Bayley and Phoenix dates back to WrestleMania 35. At that point, The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection held the WWE Women’s Tag team titles.

At the event, Sasha Banks and Bayley defended the title against Nia Jax & Tamina, Beth Phoenix & Natalya, and The IIconics.
They had almost successfully defended the title when Phoenix executed a Grand Slam off the ropes on The Role Model. The IIconics took advantage of the window, and while Peyton Royce tackled Phoenix, Billie Kay pinned Bayley.
“She gave me a freaking Grand Slam off the top of the rope, which doesn’t feel good,” said Bayley. “I think my shoulder is still paying for it. Then, I lost the titles, not even to her. So, that’s a little unfinished business. And I think she’s ducking and dodging a little too much. You know, I saw her at WrestleMania, and she was hiding behind doors and hiding behind her husband, so I mean, I’m ready, Beth.” H/t Wrestling Inc.
Well, if Beth Phoenix returns to the ring, The Role Model is ready to avenge herself!
I was cheering for Melina. I will never forgive you!!!!

They battled at WrestleMania Backlash and Hell in a Cell 2021, and in both these PPVs, Belair retained her title.
Bayley is one last opportunity to make it happen. If she wins, this will push her right to the top of the roster. If she doesn’t, she may not be able to wrestle for the title anytime soon.
