“Bayley Fell in Love Again”: Bayley’s Unaired Romantic Dance Video With Rhea Ripley After SmackDown Went Off Air Is Making the Rounds on the Internet

Dark matches and house shows have been loved by WWE fans ever since the infamous ‘The Kliq’ moment in 1996. These are the places where wrestlers don’t stay in character as they do on regular shows. They can break kayfabe, which happened during the unaired dark match on SmackDown with Rhea Ripley and Bayley.

While Ripley is on the RAW brand and Bayley is on SmackDown, the two were seen sharing the same ring during the last episode of SmackDown. What followed is something that has gone viral in the wrestling community.

Ripley beat Natalya, then danced with Bayley

During the last episode of WWE SmackDown, the current Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, took on Natalya during a dark match. Dark matches are the ones that are not aired to the fans sitting at home. The show was shot at the Scotiabank Saddledome Arena in Alberta, Canada. 

The match was solid, with Ripley and Nattie exchanging great blows. In the end, the match was won by Ripley. Despite Nattie’s solid efforts and locking in her submission on Ripley, a distraction by Bayley led to ‘Mami’ winning the match.

Once the match was over, something took place that no one was expecting—a small, heartfelt interaction between Ripley and Bayley. The two first graciously bowed before each other before Ripley took Bayley by the hand and spun her around gently. The moment was genuinely sweet, and the fan-recorded videos went viral on social media.

This is very common with dark matches. Fans get to see the good and bad sides of the WWE that are not aired for the fans at home. However, this moment lasted a few moments before Ripley returned to her heel demeanor.

Despite Ripley and Bayle being heels in their respective brands, the fans loved the moment.

Many have wanted to see the two heels team up and carve a path in WWE that left destruction in their wake. It is left to be seen if Bayley and Ripley will ever cross paths like that. Since this was a dark match, something completely out of character like this was allowed. Knowing this will not be aired; the wrestlers took liberties with their characters in the ring.
