We’re officially on the Road to WrestleMania, and there will be no pit stops this time, except one – the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. This year’s ceremony is unique, as it will have inductees from last year as well, except one – Dave Batista.

‘The Animal’ Batista recently revealed he will not induct himself into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. He shared that because of his prior commitments, he won’t be able to attend the ceremony.

Batista revealed he requested WWE to induct him at a future ceremony so he can properly thank his fans and close ones.

The 6-time World Champion was originally set to headline the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020. However, it will not happen anymore.

After Batista’s omission, the 2020 Class looks like this – John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL), The British Bulldog, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, the New World Order (nWo), and The Bella Twins.

Batista retired from professional wrestling in 2019, wrestling his last match against Triple H at WrestleMania 35. ‘The Animal’ enjoyed an immensely successful WWE career. His feuds against The Undertaker, Triple H, Randy Orton, and John Cena are unforgettable!
