Batista is certainly one of the most prolific Superstars this business has ever seen. The man had everything pro wrestling looks for in a top Superstar.
The look, insane strength, and always impressive on the microphone – Batista had it all. The nickname, ‘The Animal,’ certainly justified the man we saw in the ring week in and week out.
Behind every on-screen personality’s glamourous and envious lifestyle, there is a tough battle that individual fights on a daily basis. For Batista, this fight was against Asthma.

Asthma is a condition in which your airways narrow and swell and may produce extra mucus. This can make breathing difficult. During a Q&A with a fan on Twitter, two fans asked Batista how he managed his ring work with this obstacle.
Knowing you have asthma makes your work in the ring even more impressive. Ever have an attack mid-match? Was your inhaler kept at ringside?

Being the humble Superstar he is, Batista gave an honest overview of his battle with this disease. He spoke about how he worked with people around the ring to keep himself in good condition at all times.
I hid inhalers under the ring and with people working around the ring. I’m not kidding. The cold venues were my nightmare. https://t.co/kpAPQ9EKpz

Batista’s first return to WWE happened six years back in 2014. According to many rumors, that was his most frustrating run with the company.
We may not know all the reasons for the frustration; however, we know one of the many. In 2014, RZA offered his lyrics for free to update his theme song, which WWE denied without any discussions.
Here’s some cool background shit for ya! My homie @rza from @WuTangClan was going to add some lyrics to my music to give it an updated feel when I went back in 2014… FOR FREE!!!! And the @WWE said NO. 😱Just another one of my frustrations of the 2014 shit show if a return. 🤦🏻 https://t.co/pKu2ROmMZx
