The rise of this character occurred when Shinsuke Nakamura stole the crown from Corbin that he won at the WWE King of the Ring tournament. Since that incident, Corbin has been desperate for money, and recently Corbin went too far with his actions.

WWE Superstar Lince Dorado of the Lucha House Party took to his Twitter to reveal an incident that happened backstage on RAW. Lince stated he caught Baron Corbin trying to steal his wallet. The incident occurred during RAW, and ironically Corbin was in the ring when the tweet came up. This states that the remonstrance is nothing more than WWE trying to build the broke character of Baron Corbin.

Corbin has recently stated that it was very difficult for him to play the King Corbin character, as he said that he didn’t know the live reaction of the crowd, which was instrumental. Baron is one of the best heels in the company, as fans love to boo him. His actions always infuriate wrestling fans, which is a testament to his success in portraying a vicious heel.
Corbin asked for 100k dollars from Drew McIntyre live on RAW

Baron Corbin had a match on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW against the Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre. Drew, who had complete control over Corbin throughout the match, took the microphone in between. He then added that Corbin looks pathetic and asks him how much money he will need to get by for a few days, a bed, some food, and a shower. Corbin immediately asked for $100,000, to which Drew responded with a laugh and then followed it up with a Claymore.

Corbin is yet again proving himself as a dependable wrestler to sell characters that the officials ask him to play. The former Intercontinental Champion sells every character he plays, and fans are getting invested in Corbin’s awkward, broken character.
