When you’re the top champion in WWE, you always have a target on your back. Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles at Night of Champions to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. During this week’s Raw, Rollins proved that he was a fighting champion after he successfully defended his title against Damien Priest. But now, Rollins’ coveted Championship has gotten a former NXT Champion licking his chops.
The star in question is none other than Bron Breakker. The NXT star made a statement on this week’s edition of the show after attacking Ilja Dragunov. During an exclusive interview in the parking lot, The 25-year-old star explained that he took umbrage to Ilja claiming that he was the most “intense guy in the WWE”, leading him to attack Ilja. Breakker then took aim at the new WHC, Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

While speaking during a backstage interview, Bron Breakker challenged Seth Rollins to prove that he is the true “workhorse” of the WWE. While Seth was the inaugural Champion of NXT, Breakker claimed that he was the “most dominant” champion of the brand.
And since Rollins is no stranger to how things are done in NXT, Breakker dared Rollins to show up on the Black and Gold brand and put his title on the line against him. And the fans can’t get enough of the drama.

He's promoting his brand by treating it like it's the best and most prestigious place in the world. That Seth has to come to him, and not the other way round.

I was thinking in the long term of Breakker going after Rollins' WHC whenever he gets called up I did not expect it to happen this quickly.

Some fans even lauded the NXT head honcho, Shawn Michaels, for the intense promo.

At this point, we will have to wait and see if Seth Rollins responds to Breakker’s challenge. Anyway, Breakker seems to have a major chip on his shoulder and is on a warpath.
However, it is not very likely for Seth to defend his world title at NXT. It remains to be seen how this story develops.
Seth Rollins had an intense staredown with his old rival on Raw
After defeating Judgement Day’s Damien Priest in a barn burner of a match, Seth Rollins had a moment with his old nemesis, Finn Balor. The duo stood in the middle of the ring, staring at each other. Fans are now spitballing about their potential match at Money in the Bank for the World Heavyweight Championship.

After Raw went off the air, Damien Priest displayed his sportsmanship by accepting a handshake from Seth Rollins. However, Finn Balor did not bother to make his way back to the ring and shake Rollins’ hand.
Although their match isn’t confirmed, signs portend that it is not very far. Let’s not forget, Balor proved to be dominant over Seth Rollins after he defeated the latter in 2016 to become the inaugural Universal Champion. It seems as if things have come full circle now. But, how will Rollins deal with Breakker’s situation? Watch this space for more updates.
