One of the most promising new talents to come to WWE in the last few years, LA Knight has not been making big strides yet. Caught in a feud with The New Day, the former Impact! World Champion keeps losing on TV. But that might all be washed away if this new rumor comes out to be true.

While in NXT, everyone thought Knight would be a surefire hit on the main roster, and it worked. But while the fans are in his corner, this rumor could lead to management also giving the push Knight deserves.

According to a report by WRKD Wrestling, LA Knight might be in contention to win the 2023 Money in the Bank briefcase in the men’s match. While nothing has been confirmed, he is the leading candidate to win the briefcase. This is surprising, as Knight has been losing a lot of his matches on SmackDown.

When WrestleMania 39 was just around the corner, Knight regularly came out to the ring, vying to make an appearance at the LA arena. But in the end, Knight didn’t show up. Not only did he lose the fatal five-way for an opportunity at the Intercontinental title but he kept losing to Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston as well.

While this briefcase might come out of nowhere, it will be exciting to see Knight finally win something big. This could also lead to a bigger place in the main event scene in the future as well.

La Knight’s charisma taking over WWE

Since his arrival on the main roster, Knight has not failed to make an impression. On the mic, Knight’s charisma overflows as he has already displayed in Impact! and NXT. His skills make people compare him to Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, so the future is bright for the star.

Fans have already thought of a future feud for Knight as well. After his photos with ex-girlfriend Becky Lynch resurfaced, the WWE Universe started to hope for a feud between Seth Rollins and LA Knight. With this rumor, LA Knight fans will be delighted to look forward to Money in the Bank taking place in the O2 arena, in London on July 1, 2023.
