At MITB, Seth Rollins and Damian Priest competed in a thrilling match. Prior to Drew McIntyre’s cash-in, Rollins and Priest put on a fantastic spectacle that pleased everyone. You are aware that not everything went great, as the two veteran wrestlers bungled certain spots. One of the biggest mistakes was Priest’s inability to kick out of Seth Rollins’ maneuver. Even though he didn’t kick out, the referee only counted two. Rod Zapada was the referee in the bout, and according to current reports, there was no pressure on him backstage. Normally, the referee must count to three before a superstar is booted out, and while Priest did not kick out, his error was to stop at two in front of the spectators at such an enormous event.
Reports stated, “I’m told there is no real heat on referee Rod Zapada following the mishap on Saturday night during the World Championship match. A source said, ‘In years past, absolutely.’”
