Asuka has climbed the upper echelons of the WWE women’s division and has etched her name amongst the all-time greats. The Empress of Tomorrow has always been a favorite of her followers, who have helped her reach the top. When her fans learned that Asuka had suffered a knee injury in March of this year, they were devastated.

Given the severity of her condition, it was obvious that she would be out for several months. But now the WWE Universe can breathe easy with the arrival of some good news. Asuka gave a significant update on her injuries and her recovery process recently.

WWE had confirmed at the time of her injury that Asuka would require surgery. According to the WWE star’s report on the injury, surgery was successful. The knee is currently in much better shape than before as she rests and recovers.

She put out a video of her post-knee surgery routine, which was uploaded on YouTube. In the video, we can see that the 42-year-old is still suffering because of the injury, as she cannot fully control her knee. Although she cannot manage it, she is working to do so and will be fit sooner rather than later. Does this suggest Asuka can return to WWE before her stated return date?

Will Asuka make her storied comeback to WWE before her slated return?

The answer to this question doesn’t have a clear and obvious answer at the moment. As you are aware, Asuka is training again to return to the ring as soon as possible, but it does not appear that she can recover that quickly. Knee injuries typically take 8 to 10 months to recover, and while Asuka’s return may not take as long as it was supposed to before, it is still far off.
