The Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana will host a bevy of top WWE stars at Fastlane. The Premium Live Event is scheduled for October 7 and will feature at least five matches, which have already been announced. One of the superstars, Charlotte Flair, who will be competing in a Triple threat match for Iyo Sky’s WWE Women’s Championship, is nearing a mammoth record.

If Flair manages to win the bout, she’ll be breathing down the neck of her legendary father- Ric Flair’s record, which is shared by WWE GOAT John Cena as well. But do you know how many champions The Queen has won till date?

Flair has a total of 14 championships- six RAW Women’s Championships, seven SmackDown Women’s Championship and one Divas Championship. She was the last wrestler to hold the now defunct Divas belt. Flair won it against Nikki Bella at Night of Champions in Houston, Texas in September 2015.

All of her SmackDown championships

It wasn’t until 2017 that Charlotte Flair got her hand on the SmackDown belt. Her success in the blue brand came against Natalya in November. She held onto the belt for 146 days before dropping it to Carmella, who cashed in her Money in The Bank contract in April the following year.

The second reign lasted on 27 days, after she regained the belt at SummerSlam in a Triple Threat Match involving Becky Lynch and then champion Carmella. The Man took the belt at Hell in a Cell PLE.

Flair’s third reign started on March 26, 2019, after she defeated Auska- who will be the other challenger apart from her at Fastlane- to take the gold. She dropped it at WrestleMania that year as Lynch went home with both the RAW and SmackDown belts by pinning Ronda Rousey, in the main event Winner Takes All Triple Threat Match.

Her fourth reign might be the shortest in her career as she managed to defeat Lynch at Money in The Bank that year, only to concede it to Bayley minutes later. The 34-year-old encashed her briefcase that same night to win the gold.

Her fifth reign lasted five days- winning it at Hell In a Cell PLE in October, 2019, and losing it back to Bayley a week later.

The sixth reign started in 2021. But this wasn’t decided based on a match. The 14-time champion had been the RAW Women’s Champion, while Lynch was the SmackDown champion. After a draft, where they were placed in opposite brands, the two champions swapped the belts. The reign lasted for nearly 200 days (197) and ended in a loss to Ronda Rousey in an “I Quit” match at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, 2022.

Flair returned on the December 30, 2022 episode of SmackDown after a hiatus and squashed Rousey in minutes to win the belt for the seventh time.

All six RAW Championships

After retiring the Divas Championship, the WWE presented the WWE Women’s Championship, which was later rebranded and drafted to the RAW roster. Flair was the inaugural champion, defeating Lynch and Sasha Banks to win the laurel on April 3, 2016.

Her second reign as RAW Women’s Champion started after a win against Banks at SummerSlam 2016 on August 21. She lost the title again after one and a half months.

But she didn’t have to wait for long after losing it as Banks dropped it to her on October 30’s Hell in a Cell PLE.

Her 4th reign was hard fought as Banks put on a tough fight at Roadblock: End of the Line on December 18. The score was initially 2-2 after their allotted 30 minutes, but then Flair managed to get the victory with the sudden death overtime win.

By the time Charlotte managed to wrap the RAW gold around her waist for the fifth time, it was 2021. By then, the promotion had also introduced fresh blood and Flair squared off with Rhea Ripley at Money in the Bank 2021. The reign lasted hours as Nikki A.S.H encashed her MITB contract the next night, on the July 19 episode of RAW.

At SummerSlam 2021 on August 21, Nikki A.S.H faced Flair and Ripley in a Triple Threat Match, losing her title to Flair, who won it for the sixth time.

Will Charlotte Flair win her 15th world championship

The odds are even at the moment. All three participants in the match have had big bout experience and have delivered enthralling matches in the past. That said, Flair’s appetite for championships is almost unmatched in the WWE. She has won 14 golds in eight years, which makes it nearly two championship wins every year.

So, expect a tight contest between three evenly matched opponents as they take on one another to stamp their authority.

If Flair manages, she’ll come even closer to breaking her father and John Cena’s record of 16 world championships. At 37, one would believe that she’s more likely to be there, especially with her recent revelation about breaking the record. But when? That still remains a million dollar question.
