WWE star Liv Morgan got arrested a day ago at 6:30 PM in Florida for possession of marijuana on December 14, 2023. She was bonded out for $3,000 and was released several hours after the arrest. Although Morgan was released quickly the repercussions of her arrest could be more.

The in-depth details regarding Morgan’s arrest

The incident took place when a Sheriff’s deputy first noticed Morgan. While driving her jeep she crossed over the lines of a country road. This led the deputy to pull the star over. This was a routine stop for the deputy based on how Morgan was driving.

Unfortunately, things got serious as the deputy got closer to the vehicle. The arrest report indicated that the deputy got the odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle. This was reported by PWInsider. As the deputy inspected the star, he found the substance within a small plastic bag.

Along with the bag, a vape pen was also recovered. When tested, the substance within the pen was also proven to be marijuana. This led to Morgan being arrested. According to the law, not more than 20 grams of the substance should be in possession of an individual.

The update regarding the issue, according to PWInsider is that charges can draw a fine of $1000 and up to one year of jail time. Morgan is scheduled to be arraigned on the charges of possession. This will occur on Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Sumter County Courthouse in Florida at 9 AM.

The charge of possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) is a first-degree offense in Florida. Conviction of possession also results in a six-month driving license suspension, random drug testing, and the reimbursement of all fees related to the sentence.

Why was Morgan out of the WWE for so long?

2023 saw Morgan suffer a shoulder injury putting her on the shelf for the majority of the year. Her most recent one was a shoulder injury. She hasn’t been seen on the WWE program since July this year.

Fans were expecting her to make her return at a PLE, but she never did. Despite not making her return, the WWE tagged her on multiple outings with other sports athletes. WWE is yet to comment or take any action after Liv Morgan’s arrest.
