When there are two big men in the mix, one is bound to wonder – who is bigger? Who is stronger? Who has a better physique? Well, this is something people have wondered when it comes to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock.

First, it’s important to mention that Dwayne Johnson is 49 years old and Arnold Schwarzenegger is 74 years old as of 2022. But, both of them still have physiques of men who love to lift heavy.

Now, if one was to compare them, it would have to be Johnson’s current physique with what Schwarzenegger was almost 25 years ago, which is 1997. Around 1996, 1997, the movies in which Arnold Schwarzenegger starred showed his then-physique. If one compares Schwarzenegger’s then-physique with The Rock’s current physique, it seems The Rock has a better physique at 49 than what Arnold did when he was 49.

Of course, since both are actors, they obviously have to modify their physiques as per their roles. However, both of them have always maintained a significantly big physique.

Coming to their current physiques, both men have quite impressive muscles, cuts, and strength for their respective ages. In fact, keeping in mind that Arnold Schwarzenegger was a professional bodybuilder, even at 74, his muscles are well-maintained!

Dwayne Johnson and Arnold Schwarzenegger did a movie together

It’s always epic to watch two legends of the business together on-screen. While Schwarzenegger doesn’t need to establish himself as a legend anymore, Johnson has some more time to establish himself in Hollywood, even though he is the highest paid actor.

Coming to their movies, Johnson and Schwarzenegger have done only one film together – The Rundown (Welcome to the Jungle) in 2003.
