In the first match of the Backlash France 2024 premium event, the WWE Universe witnessed an unexpected WWE debut. The match that heated the fans at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France, was the tag team match between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga of The Bloodline. The match had a normal simple tag stipulation until it was made into a Street Fight.

It seemed like a win for Owens and Orton was imminent as they dominated proceedings. Until, Tama Tonga’s brother, Tanga Loa, appeared and led the referee out of the ring before he counted the third slap on the canvas. He then attacked both Orton and Owens with the metal ladders. Then Sikoa capitalized on all the chaos by attacking Owens with the Samoan Spike to take the win by pinfall. This surely was an interesting return for Tanga Loa, but maybe we’ll have to start calling him ‘Tonga’ Loa from now on. Why? Because the WWE might be planning to change his name.
