Dwayne Johnson‘s care for his family and friends, which also extends to his large fanbase, is an open secret. ‘The Brahma Bull’ came forward several times, extending his hand of support to his near ones in their tough time. But alongside humans, many tiny little lives breathe in the same air. The Rock’s acute sensitivity touches them as well.

Being a multidimensional personality, The Rock dips his feet into everything. A recent Instagram post shows him dipping them in a pond. The actor shared his love for fishing with his fans. But they were even more excited to see the actor’s kindness shine through in his hobby.

The former WWE champion was seen taking care of a fish from his pond before releasing it back into the water. The soul-soothing video is a testament to the empathy of the 260lbs WWE monster. He catches fish to relieve them of the lactic acid buildup in their muscles, not to put them on a plate.

The Jumanji star posted the wholesome video on Instagram with the caption, “I don’t eat ‘em, I always put ‘em back. Yup, I usually get in the water to help the fish with their lactic acid buildup in their muscles (just like humans after a hard workout) so I can help ease oxygen back into their gills.”

Although Dwayne Johnson taking care of his fish made waves on social media, Johnson’s affection for wildlife is not something new for his fans.

Dwayne Johnson once babysat a monkey

Animals can sense empathy better than humans sometimes. The Rock gives off an animal-friendly aura that helps him bond with animals on a whole different level. His deep-seated love for them is clear in his social media posts.

During an appearance for Saving Wildlife International last year, the ex-WWE superstar met Macho, the incredible monkey, and they instantly became friends. The star posted a series of photographs with his new friend on Instagram.

The Rock disclosed Macho was unbelievably jolly with him. An SWI trainer even told him that the monkey found his energy infectious.

“Then I spent the next 20 minutes talking about saving animals while holding Macho in my lap like he was one of my children,” Johnson concluded, recalling his sweet encounter with Macho.
