At the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event, most WWE stars try to earn a future shot at a championship. But the 2022 Women’s Money in the Bank winner, Liv Morgan, had some other plans. She cashed in her Money in the Bank contract just a few minutes after winning it in the opening match.

Not only did Morgan just cashed it in, but she also got hold of her first championship in WWE. And Liv Morgan did that at the expense of Ronda Rousey. Yes, you heard it right. Morgan challenged Rousey for a WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship match after Rousey’s victory over Natalya.

In the opening match of the night, Liv Morgan defeated top stars like Becky Lynch and Asuka to get her hands on the Money in the Bank briefcase. And now, in a matter of no time, she is the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Following Morgan’s cash in, fans react to Twitter to react to this major surprise as nobody saw this coming tonight.

Not only fans, some stars also took to social media to congratulate Liv Morgan.

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion also had a message following Morgan’s victory over her former WWE rival, Ronda Rousey. Earlier, Bayley revealed on social media that she wants Liv Morgan to win the Money in the Bank. And after Liv Morgan’s championship victory, Bayley noted, “I am the happiest I’ve been all year.”

Ronda Rousey almost crushed Liv Morgan’s dream of becoming the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship

Before Liv Morgan cashed in her Money in the Bank contract, Ronda Rousey faced Natalya for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Though Rousey won that match, it looked like she might have hurt her knees during the match. And Morgan sensed that opportunity and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on ‘The Baddest Woman in the Planet‘.

As soon as the bell rang, Liv Morgan tried to kick Ronda Rousey. But Rousey caught her leg and locked her in an Angle lock. It looked like Morgan might tap out and she would then have to repent for her decision to cash in on Ronda Rousey.

But Morgan targeted Rousey’s knees and got out of that hold after some struggle. She then rolled up Ronda Rousey for a successful three-count to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. However, after the match, Ronda Rousey hugged Morgan and congratulated her.
